Junior handling – the future exhibitors are coming

Exposer un chien, c’est connaître les rudiments, la technique, faire honneur à la race que l’on a au bout de la laisse et respecter le juge. La relève est en marche. Exit les survêtements et baskets, place aux tenues soignées… les jeunes présentateurs ont montré l’exemple. Ils sont les exposants de demain qui marqueront peut être de leur empreinte l’histoire de la cynophilie en France et à l’étranger. Comme le dit l’adage « La vérité sort de la bouche des enfants. », là l’exemple vient des tout derniers. Bravo aux jeunes présentateurs !

To show a dog, you have to know the basic knowledge, the technique, to be a credit to the breed you have on the lead and respect the judge. The relief team is here. Exit the track suits, the sneakers and welcome to the elegant suit… the junior handlers showed us the way. They are the exhibitors of tomorrow and maybe they will put their stamp on the history of our dogs in France and abroad. As the saying goes : the truth comes from the children’s mouths.A big cheer for the junior handlers

Mettre en valeur le chien que l’on présente, garder la laisse dans la main gauche, ne jamais quitter des yeux le juge, marcher convenablement et, surtout, être fairplay… c’est la leçon qu’ont retenue le samedi et le dimanche les jeunes présentateurs. Prenons-en de la graine !

To show the dog to advantage, keep the lead in your left hand, never stop following the judge with your eyes, walk with the appropriate gait, and, over all, be fair play, this is the lesson the junior handlers will remember. So, take a leaf out of their book.

Un sourire détend l’atmosphère. Bien entendu, eux aussi veulent tous gagner, mais être agréable ne fait de mal à personne !

A smile relaxes the atmosphere. Of course, all of them want to win, but being nice can do no harm.
